The Mini Cooper is the Porche of clown cars. It's also the cutest little car on the race track.

Today GameSpotter brings you a little racing game called 3D Mini Racers in which you race Minis with a Mini of your own.

This is a run of the mill racing game. You have a car. One that you chose. Your opponents have cars. Everyone is on a track. The first car that does three laps around the track is declared the winner. What's fun about this racing game is the little cars.

The gameplay is standard for this type of game but there are a few features that add something to the experience. First is that each track has a different surface and the physics reflect this. On the dirt track your car will slide more than on the asphalt track for example. The second feature is smoke. When you peel out smoke flies out from behind your car, when you slide around a corner you'll leave a cloud of smoke. It's a nice visual effect that contributes to the player's "feel" of the track. The graphics are a bit grainy but they don't detract too much from the race. In fact during a race you'll be so focused on your car you probably won't notice.

We liked streaking around the track in a little Mini.
