It's side shooter action time here at Gamespotter. Today we're bringing you, Allied Assault. In Allied assault you're a member of the Allied Forces who are fighting the forces of evil to free the world from STING. Now that's some motivation.

The controls in this game are easy as can be. Use the arrow keys to move your ship. Use the CONTROL key to fire your main weapon, and the SPACE bar to drop bombs.

Easy controls and some very nice art make this game. Loggy gameplay and a feeling that one has played a million similar games unmakes the game. That doesn't mean that we don't recommend this game. Because we do. Just don't expect Allied Assault to be something new.

We absolutely loved the background art in this game.
