Winter is quickly moving in. It's unpacked its bag and is settling its frigid mass in your town. Unless you're in the southern climes of the southern hemisphere. In which case, you may be missing the winter activities you grew to love.

Today we bring you Arctic Racer, a 3D snowmobile racing game. There are other 3D snowmobile racing games out there, of course. But this may be the only one in which your snowmobile can shoot crackers at opponents.

Easy controls are a big plus for this game. Once again the Arrow Keys of simplicity make playing a treat instead of a chore. The graphics compliment the ease of play by looking great. Though they seem a bit stiff. Like controlling a cardboard cut-out.

We're going to miss summer, but the chill of winter makes staying inside all the time playing games a guilt-free pleasure.
