It seems that all the really good 3-D Web racing games are always on big corporate branded game sites. This makes sense, since they can afford to fund the game development. Of course we are left to wade through the advertising in order to play the game.

Today's featured game is worth wading through the sea of Oreos in order to play Arctic Racer 3-D. This is a really cool true 3-D snowmobile racing game. You choose from three snowmobiles and race around an exciting course against a computer opponent. The course has plenty of obstacles and judiciously placed Nabisco product power-ups. Our favorites are the Lifesaver jumps which will put you way ahead or cause you to crash if you're not careful.

As racing games go this is a good one and since it's January why not a snowmobile game. We're not sure if it's because we're slow or if it's impossible to beat the computer opponent. We fear that it's because we're slow. Like many online games, this one let's you mark on the high score board if you register with the site. But at least you can play the game if you don't want to share you data.

We love 3-D racing games especially if they are free. And this one has enough thrills and spills and it's real enough to make it more fun than a snowball fight, and you don't have to get cold.
