You may remember Inspector Parker from the Clue inspired game titled simply "Inspector Parker." Well the Inspector is back in a new game, and this one is similar to another game of deductive logic, the classic Minesweeper.

This game is called Betrapped, Which is precisely what you don't want to become. You must guide Inspector Parker through a Victorian mansion that has more deadly traps in it than an Indiana Jones movie. Using the familiar adjoining squares metaphor you must detect traps and spring them before stepping on them. Think you've got the whole Minesweeper thing down? This game also includes hidden traps, just to make the mansion a little more deadly.

In keeping with the previous game, back are the sumptuous Victorian style graphics and the clever scoring. It's the little touches that make this game fun and interesting. And should you really get bitten by the Inspector Parker bug, you can download a full screen extended version of the game.

We like this game because it's a fun twist on a classic puzzle. And besides stylistically the Gamespotter goes with Inspector Parker like Watson goes with Holmes.
