The edict from the King Arthur is quite simple. Let no man pass (except for monks.) Many intruders have tried to kill the king but the loyal bodyguards have always prevailed now it's you turn to stand guard, all you have to do is defend the gate for five minutes. Five lousy minutes, piece of cake, right?
The game is called Castle Defender and it is ridiculously simple. use your bow and arrow to take out charging intruders. The bad guys are pretty easy to shoot, at least until they start coming at you faster and faster. In fact they are so hard to miss that you get bonus points for head shots. Sometimes it's fun to see just how close you can let them get, just so they get their hopes up. But nevertheless it's your job and somebody has got to do it.
You control the elevation of your shots using the up and down arrow keys, and use the space bar to shoot. Missed shots and dead monks cost you points. Head shots get you a bonus. You must defend the gate for the full five minutes and if an intruder gets by you it's game over. and that is truly embarrassing.
We like this game for the fun animation and mindless fun of shooting an endless stream of angry citizens. What are they so upset about? Who cares! Just shoot 'em in the melon.
