One of the hottest new extreme sports to take off recently is called Free Running or City Jumping. It was popularized by the Cable documentary "Jump London." The object is to run and jump your way from point A to point B in the most artful manner possible with getting yourself killed.
Strangely enough the object of todays featured game is the same. In City Jumper you are a stick figure jumping your way across the city in pursuit of the key to the city. Don't let simple graphics of this game fool you, it's harder than it looks. And fortunately you have plenty of lives to spend.
The really different thing about this game is the controls. the arrow keys control whether you take a small jump, big jump, or a mega\-jump and the space bar toggle the direction in which you are running. It takes a while to get used to the rather strange controls, but once you get them down the game is a pleasure to play. Just don't expect a fancy 3-D experience in this game because it's an old style 2-D side-scroller with basic graphics.
We like this game because of it's quirky retro style and it's fun to play and to try to get on the high score board. And it'll keep us busy until someone makes a fancy 3-D Free Running game.
