Today's featured game started out as a simple little Flash game for a european Nightclub. But throw in Swedish Artist Olle Hemmendorff and this game snowballed into something much bigger.
The game is named after the Stockholm nightclub called Club Malibu. It has that demented up way too late feel to it. You've got an evil Mexican Flamingo named El Flamingo, who is so evil that cactii grow in his footsteps. El Flamingo's big problem is he doesn't have "The Groove" which the good flamingo, Mr. Malibu and his posse of deep-fried penguins have in spades. After El Flamingo kidnaps Mr. Malibu and most of the deep-fried posse, it's up to the remaining pequins to save all that is good.
Like the japanese Pop group the 5,6,7,8s. The penguin posse all have numbers. Jump your penguins over the various obstacles like prickly cactuses, ninjas, and more in in their headlong mission to save the world. Press the number key of the corresponding penguin to make him jump over the various obstacles. Jump on mushrooms to bounce higher in the air. Jump on enemies to kill them. Avoid hitting enemy objects otherwise your penguins lose heath. Gain health points by picking up the food high up in the air (by bouncing off mushrooms). Avoid killing your penguins, save Mr. Malibu.
We love this game for it's absurdity. And it's also a kick to play if you can stop chuckeling long enough to actually hit the right number keys. And to think this started out as "a simple little flash game."
