The first weekend of spring. The weather is warming, flowers are growing, and trees are budding. The perfect time to get winter out of your system with a skiing game.

Downhill Skiing is the name of today's game, and also a brief description of what you do in this game. You ski. Downhill. There's a bit more to it than that. For one thing, you can turn. You can jump. And you can pick up snowflakes and giant candy-bars for points.

Your arrow keys are what you use to steer your skiier, with the space-bar there whenever you feel the need to jump over an obstacle.

While this is a fairly well done arcade skiing game it does have the one annoyance of not responding the instant a button is pressed. When one presses the space-bar the skiier should instantly jump. Or at least jump quickly enough not to hit obstacles. But perhaps this slow-response button bother should be considered more of a challenging inconvenience.
