Big news today. Probably. We wouldn't know. We're here to track the best games on the net. The news is outside our purview. Besides, why would you want to dip into the tragic world of news when according to experts playing games is thirty percent better for your heart. We saw that on a news report a while back.
Today's featured game is Electroid Online, a simple arcade game filled with charm that will send older gamers into a fit of nostalgia. Younger gamers will simply appreciate the excellent time they'll have playing this game. The object of Electroid Online is the tried and true objective of surrounding squares in order to fill a grid. Trying to defeat your objective are a variety of enemies dedicated to preventing your success. Wandering, disrupting, huntoids, out to fraz your neatly planned schemes. From time to time a square will show bonuses that you will receive if you can surround it in time. Bonuses will afford you extra points or frustrate your enemies. So do your best to capture them. You control your grid filling craft with the arrow keys.
The graphics are simple, but appropriate for this game. This is an arcade game, there wasn't any need to ruin it with graphical attempts to make it look trendy and modern. What this game lacks in spectacular 3D graphics that would tax any computer it makes up for in worthy arcade game-play that will entertain any player. The one thing that we thought would really improve this game is increasing its size. A lot. On itty-bitty cell-phone screens this game most likely looks perfect. On a computer monitor, however, the size is unfortunately way too small.
