Many feel that the grandest game of all is chess. There are basically two kinds of online computer chess; games against a computer opponent and games against an online human opponent. Today's featured game shows us yet another variation.
What if you took the massively multi-player experience of a game like Everquest and combined it with the ancient game of chess? Throw in 3-D graphics and an infinite chess board and you'd end up with Ever Chess. This is an online variation of chess where you play against MULTIPLE opponents at the same time. Sound difficult? You bet it is.
When you start this game you find yourself on an infinite chess board with your conventional chess pieces set-up in a most unusual configuration. You might also find youself surronded by armies of other players. It's like a mosh pit at a chess convention, with every player attacking and defending from every other player. Make no bones about it, you are going to get killed fast the first few times you play. But if you don't wimp out, soon you will find yourself licking you lips and taking on all comers.
We like this game because it takes chess to a different level in a WWF kind of way. And it's something like you've never played before. Who says chess is for wimps!
