What makes a game a game? Do you have to keep score? Get points? Does a game even have to have a point? We don't know the answer. Especially when comes to today's featured game ... or whatever you want to call it.
It's very hard to describe Gorillaz and Kong Studios, on the one hand Gorrillaz is an EMI records Rock group, on the other hand Gorillaz and Kong Studios is an online artist consortium and collaboration site as well as home the Search for a Star contest. Confused? While it doesn't make much sense, it is definitely cool. Which brings us to the game, Final Drive. Final Drive is a 3-D driving game where you drive a Geep around with the Gorillaz aboard. The object of the game, if you can call it that, is just to drive around a cool 3-D environment and do tricks and have fun.
If loop-de-loops are your thing, you can do that. If extreme crashes trip your trigger, rock on. If doing half-pipe tricks, scratch your itch, scratch away. We guess the best way to describe it is; freestyle motorized madness. BTW if you get tired of driving around, you owe it to yourself to check out the rest of the Gorrillaz site. It is truly one of the cool places on the net. And beside Gorrillaz is a cool band to check out anyway.
We love this game (if you can call it that) for it's freeform fun. No time limits, other than your attention span, and only the (slightly modified) laws of physics to obey. Gamespotter loves Gorillaz!
