Contact! And you're off into the skies ready to prove your mettle against enemy aces in a duel to the death.

Hostile Skies is an arcade style shooter based in the Great War. Also known as World War One.

You play as Billy Coppins, fighter ace in the French Armee de L'air. You're mission is to take out German aircraft and bomb German resources on the ground. Your plane is controlled with your mouse. Move the cursor left and right to speed up and slow down. Up and down will affect your plane's altitude.

The planes look great and are well modeled but the game doesn't live up to how well the planes are rendered. Hostile Skies is not for pilots who like realism in their flight sims. But as an arcade game it's not too bad.

We liked the big explosions.
