Back in the day, when Lunar Lander hit the arcades it was a sensation, because it was a game of finesse and control unlike trigger-happy games like Asteroids. It made the player feel if they possessed the fine motor skills, understanding of physics and nerves of steel of our Astronaut heros. If you liked Lunar Lander, you should like today's featured game.
The game is actually a sequel to Lunar Mouse House aptly named Lunar Mouse House 2 (on ice.) Where in Lunar lander games you must simply avoid hitting things and bring your craft to a safe landing, This game adds a few more challenges just to make it interesting. Specifically you must pick up a glass ball filled with mice with your tractor beam and navigate through perilously thin ice caves to deliver the mice to unlock the door to the next level. Sound like fun? Oh yeah, you're also limited on fuel and damage and afore mentioned glass ball is very fragile and difficult to control.
This is a perfect game to test your nerve. Being very precise is what it's all about. If you're familiar with Lunar Lander's controls you should feel right at home with this game. But dealing with a dangling glass ball adds another dimension.
We like this game because they took the concept of this type of game and made it even more fun and more challenging. Buzz Aldrin eat your heart out!
