Today's featured game of the day is Planet Racer. In this game you travel the galaxy competing in races around distant planets against computer controlled alien opponents. Some of whom would love to take your souped-up moon-buggy if you lose. The way you race in this game is unique. Rather than race in the same direction, you and your oppenent race to the finish line around the circumference of a planet.. As you win races you increase not only your bank account, but also your reputation. Your final goal is to challenge, and beat the King.
Control of your moon-buggy is achieved through the use of the arrow keys. But you're going to have to control more than the accelerator and the brake. As you race around mountainous moons you're going to have to shift your vehicles center of balance.
This is a game filled with competitive zeal and excitement. The races are winnable, but the opponents aren't going to go easy on you.
