If Quentin Tarentino or Robert Rodriguez were into making Flash games instead of movies, they might be making games like todays featured game.
Violent, stylish and cool are good words to describe Russian Affairs. This game is a side scrolling shooter with a difference. The games creator, Alexander Balanoff, brings a modern graphic novel style to the game complete with narrative and dialog. Add to that photo-realistic animation and graphics and cinematic sound and this game soars above your standard shoot 'em up. Adding to the realism is in this game, if you get shot, you will most likely die and then it's game over, dude. So shoot and ask questions later.
You had also better be smart about ammo and reloading, in this game you can forget about unlimited ammo and lives. We'll give you hint about how this game works, you have a 50/50 chance of shooting your enemy while you are standing, if you do shoot him and hit him, one shot will kill him, if you are crouching and you shoot your enemy, you will definitely kill him. If you are standing you have a 50/50 chance of being hit by your enemy, if you get shot while standing, your health will decrease but you will not die from one shot. If you are crouching and get shot, you will die from that one shot,
We love this game for it's style and realism. We're just sorry that Alexander Balanoff has moved on to other things. we would love to see a sequel or better yet a movie adaptation.
