Unless you've been in a cave for the last ten years, you know that DJs ain't what they used to be. No more are the day's of spinning Frank Sinatra at Bar Mitzvahs. Today's DJs are musicians in their own right, Many even prefer being called a turntablist.
If you ever wanted to get a set of decks and rock the house, then today's featured game is your dream come true. Scratch Simulator set's you up with all the DJ gear right in your Web browser. This is probably the coolest Flash musical widget ever built. You've got three decks, microphones, lights, projectors, and a kicking P.A. And to top it off a pair of dancing hi-tops. Whazup wid dat?
For each of your deck's, you've got three virtual vinyl disc, so you can definitely mix it up. Basically one deck is doing loops and Breaks and you've got two decks for scratches and samples. Once you figure out how to control the decks by rolling over with your mouse you can do some decent sets. In the Bling-Bling department, you can control colored lights and a projector. Keeping the the rhythm movin' will definitely keep you busy.
We love playing around with this widget. Call some friends over and take turns on the laptop to see who can do the best set, Or just play with it to get your chops down for when you hit the big time clubs with your own coffin.
