Climb in, rev your engine, and unleash your inner speed demon. Today's game is a hot racing game called, Speed Demon. We don't have to tell you the object of the game is to beat the other cars around the track. That's pretty obvious, this being an automobile racing game. The arrow keys control your ride. If you can beat the other drivers you'll unlock more tracks and more vehicles.

There are tons of racing games out there. What makes this one stand out is the quality. We have to admit to being extra impressed with how sharp the texture mapping is in this game. Even the treads on the tires stand out in impressively sharp relief. The physics feel right. You won't slide too much or go spinning off of the track. The only slightly frustrating thing we found was the invisible barrier that kept us from driving on the sidewalks or cutting corners. Seeing sparks flying off the side of our car when it wasn't touching anything we could see seemed kind of odd to us.
