Every once in a blue moon we come across a game site that is truly different. One where you can't just review the games individually (because they are all awesome) but you have to say "you gotta see this site!"

Well, you gotta see this site! It's called Transience and it's the brainchild of Australian animator Dave Jones. Dave has created a site that not only has some of the best Flash animation ever done, but he has tightly integrated his characters, animations and some clever puzzle games into a whole that is truly better than it's parts. One example is the game "Pearls before Swine" which is based on an old math puzzle. All you have to do is take turns removing a number of pearls so that you leave your opponent, Juan, with only one. The puzzle is infuriating and the evil Juan is even more so. Play this game at your own risk, insanity may follow.

"Pearls" is only one game of the eight on this site so be prepared to spend some time here. And if you get tired of the games (fat chance!) you can always check out all the cool Flash movies on the site. It doesn't take long to figure out why Jones is considered one of the best Flash animators in the world.
