Tank sims rumble in and out of the scene. One of the most memorable was Tank from Atari's Combat collection of games.

Although WarZone 3 puts you on the ground it has the same feel as the old Atari game. Shoot and destroy your opponent through a maze of walls behind which you can hide.

The arrow keys control your movement, space-bar fires, and the T and the E rotate the turret.

The 3-D graphics in this game are so-so, but when you're focused on shooting and hiding you may not care.

We liked how simple and engaging the game was.
