It's amazing that sometimes people take something that could be as simple as ten questions on a Web page and turn it into something complex, creative and well... a little odd. It just so with today's featured game.
This widget (which is what call these things, that aren't games per se.) was made to promote the British comedy film "Gone to the Dogs" and supposedly tells you which dog breed you most resemble. How does it do that? It uses a replica of a computer called SUKA built in 1975 by Russian scientist Mikhail Volkonsky and SUKA is powered by CATS (Canine Algorithmic Transfer System) which is able to determine what kind of dog you are. Simply answer 10 questions, being as honest and accurate as possible and CATS will calculate which breed you resemble the most.
That's right all you have to do is answer ten questions. So why all the fancy-shmancy computer interface? Because THAT'S British humor. Humor aside the CATS software does reward you with a detailed description and a photo of the dog breed you most resemble. or at least resembles the view of yourself as reflected in your answers. Pretty cool.
We like this widget because it finds a creative way for you to satisfy your curiosity as to your inner dog. What breed is the Gamespotter, you ask? How about a Belgian Shepherd.
