We are always interested in a puzzle game with a new twist. Especially something that we haven't seen a hundred different variations of before. Today's game is challenging, fun and, well, just a little weird.

The metaphor for XRAYE is that you are connecting synapses to form a neural network. The metaphor is a bit of a stretch but that doesn't take away from the game. The object is to swing a bar from peg to peg until you've hit all the pegs on a level. Sometimes this seems impossible until you master the tricks of jumping and skipping pegs as well as getting the swinging part down.

This could have been a pretty ordinary game. But you add in the Giger-esque visuals and a haunting soundtrack and the game takes on a kind of weird goth appeal. It's strange that the haunting atmosphere of this game seems to make it more challenging, but it does. Fortunately there are level codes in this game so you can resume at the same level as the last time you played the game.

We like this game because it's different. VERY different! if you are looking for a fun little puzzle game that's just weird enough to scare off your coworkers, this is the game for you.
