Word Spy is the latest game from CleverMedia. Like other word games, you examine the game board and try to string together words from adjacent letters. Random bonuses appear on the board as well.

Each level has a point goal that your must achieve in order to continue to the next level. You have three minutes to complete a level.

Long words are worth way more points than short ones. For instance, a three-letter word is worth only 9 points, a four-letter word, 16 points, a five-letter word 25 points and so on. Some letters, like X, Z and Q add a multiplier into the mix for even higher scores.

The game gets challenging as you try to build longer words by removing letters surrounding a potential long word. For instance, you may have QUEE on the board and be trying to remove small words near the last E to get an N to complete QUEEN.

The game has a 'spy' motif with James Bond-inspired graphics and music.
