Every once in a while you need an old-fashioned arcade style twitch reflex shoot-em-up to brighten up your day. Like today's game; no strategy needed here, just super fast eye hand coordination.
The story is that you are going from Earth to Mars on the Mars Highway your instructions are to shoot all aliens and asteroids in your way. Now it's easy in this game to simply avoid things and get to Mars, but then you wouldn't have any points. And points are what its all about. The more things you shoot the more points you get.
When you start the game you're hurtling down a cosmic half-pipe with asteroids and aliens flying towards you and to your left and right, but rather than avoid them you want to get in front of them and blast 'em. And by the way avoid getting Kamikazed 'cause that cost you points. Just like the arcade games of old, you are slamming the arrow keys and the space bar as fast as you can, forget the wear and tear on your keyboard and your wrist, this is FUN! And If you want to fill out the farm after the game you can post your high score and see everyone one else's. Although the form is lame, comparing your score is what it's all about. Just like the arcade.
We like this game because it is fast, no time to think, just react. It's a simple game that you want to play over and over again. even if it's just to tap along with the cool techno soundtrack.
