The Sport Compact car street racing scene is huge. If you dig rice rockets and you don't have thousands of dollars to sink into turbos and NOx for your Honda and you'd rather not risk your life and freedom doing illegal street racing, why not do it virtually?
Today's game allows you to do some high speed street racing without breaking the law or your bank account. Redline Rumble let's you pick out a hot car and race it against a computer opponent down a crowded freeway. If you've ever wanted to do this but thought better of it, here's your chance to race without endangering innocent people's lives.
The cars and graphics in this game realistic, and the steering ,braking, and shifting are not bad. On the non-realistic side of things, the crash dynamics in this game allow you continue even after you make a mistake and crash. and your opponent even "waits up" for you. Like many other racing games, as you win races you get better and faster cars, which is every boy racers dream.
We like this game because it fulfills our need for speed with a fun adrenaline pumping game that is neither too hard or too easy. And most of all, unlike real street racing, nobody gets killed.
