With baseball season beginning we thought today would be a great day to put up a game for sports fans.
The game of the day is Slapshot Shoot-Out from Candystand.com. The goal of the game is to get the puck past the goalie. We just wanted you to know that in case it wasn't as blaringly obvious as it seemed to us.
Scoring in Slapshot Shoot-Out is a combination precision and skill. Although with us it was dumb luck more than anything else. You have to carefully move your player into position with the mouse. Then you click and hold down the mouse button, pull back, and then release the mouse button to swing.
The game takes time to get used to, and slightly longer to get good at. Don't get frustrated. Try to remember that a challenge is one of those things that build character.
