Wanna shoot some hoops over lunch?
Then try Squidsoup's hoop shooting game Squid Ball. The object of the game is very simple and easy to figure out. Get the basketball through the basketball hoop. After each succesful basket you get to shoot from a different point around the key. If you can get enough points you'll move on to the next level.
The thing we liked most about this game was how authentic the sounds were. From the echoing bounce of the ball on the wood floor, to the pure whoosh of a swish, the sound design blew us away. The physics and the graphics are also excellent. The gameplay is extremely simple. Click and hold when the sweeping red triangle is over where you want the ball to go, release when the power level is to your liking.
