Okay, mech fans, you asked for it and we found it. An online 3D mech game.
The game is called, TRechs, and the goal is exactly what you would expect from a mech game. Walk around in your giant robot and shoot things.
The machines in this game look fantastic. Which was the first thing we noticed about this game. Great models built by great modelers. The controls are fairly easy to learn, although we had trouble firing our mech's missiles. The gameplay is simple, go shoot things, and free of any complicated storyline or brain-busting puzzles. This could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what kind of player you are.
