In the beginning there were stick figures and then there was stick figure animation movies. And ultimately this culminated in stick figure kung-fu movies and games.

The original stick figure kung-fu movie was call Xiao Xaio 1 and it appeared on the Xiao Xiao Website. Once you seen this Flash movie you never forget it's fluid animation and exaggerated violence. Soon to follow were more official Xiao Xiao movies and games and many more imitators. Officially there are now seven Xiao Xiao movies and two Xiao Xiao games.

The first Xiao Xiao flash game (Xiao Xiao 6) was laughable in it's simplicity. You just had to be able to hit the space bar on your keyboard and your stick figure fought his way out of sticky situations. Not so with the latest game (Xiao Xiao 9) It is a true fighting game that you can spend hours playing and perfecting your moves. It is sophisticated and fun. It treads the line between humor and violence and blurs the line between 2-D and 3-D animation.
