Today is the fourth of July. A day dedicated to celebrate the United States of America, the greatest nation which has ever existed. This isn't only the birthday of a nation, it's also a celebration of a political system in which God-given rights are the foundation. America's Declaration of Independence expresses that vision when it declares, "We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness." This is the epitome of enlightened thought, the concept that individuals don't exist to serve government, rather government exists only to protect individual liberty. What a revolutionary idea. Today, Americans, wave your flags proudly, shoot off some fireworks, eat loads of hot dogs, and remember how lucky you are to live in the greatest nation on earth.
In celebration of today's festivities we're featuring Phantom Fireworks' Interactive Fireworks Show. Select the city, or skyline of your choice and put on your very own fireworks show. You can select American cities from sea to shining sea, or exotic locals around the world. To play, click on any of the five buttons to launch a firework. Shoot off willows, salutes, palms, peonies, and crosettes. The shell will be the same color as the color you clicked on. The bomb icon indicates that the launcher is reloading.
