It's strange that we would like a game that drives us crazy. Not that we're not already crazy, but today's featured game is one of those puzzle games that might just leave you mumbling in a strait jacket on the way to the funny farm.
Innocently named Sparks in this game all you have to do is remember the path a spark takes toward the center of the board and flip the proper gate along it's path. This is mind numbly simple for a single spark, but with each successive level the game adds another spark to the mix. Also this is no sit and ponder game you have to flip your gates quickly as the sparks begin their relentless journey. To win all you have to do is make it to level ten, Yeah, right. Fat chance!
To make this game even more devious it keeps letting you play a level over and over and over again until you get it right or go stark raving mad. You just keep saying to yourself "The next time I'll get it." It took us all morning to get to level seven and that's where we are stalled in a endless loop of trying to get that last gate in place, just so we can try an even more difficult level.
We love/hate this game. It's simple, elegant and oh so challenging. And we're going to keep playing it until we solve it or they take us away in a little white truck with padded walls.
